The American Heart Association’s Health Equity in the Workforce initiative, in collaboration with the Deloitte Health Equity Institute and the SHRM Foundation, is convening employers and industry leaders to build a comprehensive roadmap that creates tools, resources, and knowledge products to help improve the health and well-being of our nation's workforce.

In June 2024, the Association released Version 2 of the Guide, which contains the science-driven, recommended Top 10 health equity strategies and Top 10 metrics for employers to advance workforce health equity.
